Local 290 were contacted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post in Medford. The VFW needed assistance with the renovation of their post. Local 290 members showed up in force when asked to work on this project, with 24 member volunteers in total. The Veteran’s Committee and the Sisters in the Brotherhood represented this project. These renovations, carried out by our carpenters, have made a huge difference to the VFW Post in Medford, as now they can hold more functions there.
