Melissa Clark attended the Albany Business Review’s ‘Women Who Mean Business’ luncheon, where five women were honored, for their accomplishments, achieved throughout their stellar careers. The goal of this award is to highlight those growing their companies and positively making a difference in the region's economy.

Each of the women shared their fascinating stories and gave their own snippet of advice to women starting out in business. The winners were Sheila Barkevich, Senior Vice President of Callanan Industries; Lisa Avila, CEO of Kitware;  Mary Cheeks, General Manager of Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady; Miriam Dushane, Upstate New York Managing Director for Linium Recruiting; and Emily Reilly, Senior Director of Human Resources of GlobalFoundries.

We would like to send our sincere congratulations to Sheila Barkevich, Senior VP of Callanan Industries, on this remarkable achievement. Callanan Industries is an Eastern Contractors Association member firm.
